The religion of Islam is one of the most misunderstood and questioned. The teachings of Islam are often the basis of confusion; whereas, in reality, True Islam is really quite straightforward.

The founder of Islam, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) established the teachings of Islam in the form of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.

Slide through the brief descriptions below in sequential order to learn more:

The Holy Quran

The Holy Quran, the word of Allah, was revealed over a period of 23 years to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

To this day it is unchanged and free from interpolation.

1

The Sunnah

The Holy Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) practically demonstrated the teachings of Islam expounded in the Holy Quran through his practices and actions. These are known as the Sunnah.

The scripture of the Holy Quran and the practical continuity of the Sunnah are the foundation of the religion of Islam.

2

The Ahadith

The narrations of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were compiled approximately 150 years after his demise. These are known as Ahadith.

These narrations support the two main sources of Islamic knowledge; they can be unquestionably accepted when they do not contradict the dictates of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.

3

The Promised Messiah

To maintain the true spirit of Islam and the true interpretation of these sources, the Holy Prophet prophesied the coming of reformers in every century, culminating in the Messiah & Mahdi.

Today, based on Divine revelation and in accordance with the prophecies of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), one man claims to be the Promised Messiah and Mahdi for this age — His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be upon him).

4

This is True Islam

His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad came to revive the true teachings of Islam and his claim was not new; he explained that the best course and interpretation of Islam is one that follows and shows deference to the respective positions of the three authentic sources of knowledge: the Holy Quran, Sunnah, and Ahadith.

The

Messiah

Has Come

“The mission for which I have been appointed is to remove that growing gap in the relationship between God and His creation and replace it once again with the relationship of love and sincerity; and by allowing the truth to manifest itself, cause religious wars and discord to end and thus lay the foundation for peace.”

— Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi
